Every Story Has a Beginning
Every life is shaped by people who leave fingerprints on our hearts.
For me, one of those people was my grandmother.
She loved the Lord with a quiet, unwavering faith that could be seen in the way she lived every day. Long before I understood the depth of Scripture, she was teaching me something even greater—that faith isn’t simply something we believe; it’s something we live.
She taught me to pray.
She taught me to study God’s Word.
She taught me to pay attention to the quiet ways the Lord speaks into ordinary life.
Many of the lessons that have guided me through the past fifty years began at her kitchen table.
As life unfolded, those lessons became more than memories. They became the foundation that carried me through seasons of joy, loss, uncertainty, forgiveness, family struggles, and hope.
Over the years I discovered something that changed my life.
The Lord’s words were never meant to stay on the pages of a Bible.
They were meant to become part of the way we think…
the way we love…
the way we forgive…
the way we make decisions…
and the way we walk through every season of life.
That realization eventually became Soulful Insight.
I never set out simply to write books.
I wanted to create something that would help people understand why a relationship with the Lord matters in everyday life.
A place where faith feels real.
Where questions are welcomed.
Where Scripture becomes understandable.
Where people can find encouragement during difficult seasons and gratitude during joyful ones.
Today, Soulful Insight has grown into much more than books.
It is a place to receive daily messages, request prayer, find spiritual guidance, attend classes, invite me to speak or teach, and, most importantly, continue growing in your own relationship with the Lord.
If you’ve found your way here, I hope you’ll feel at home.
Whether you’re taking your very first steps of faith or you’ve walked with the Lord for many years, I hope you’ll discover what I have found to be true…
When we learn to walk with Him, we never walk alone.
Welcome.
I’m grateful you’re here.

A custom prayer is written specifically for one person, family, or moment. It reflects the details you choose to share and is created with intention and care, so it feels personal, meaningful, and lasting — not generic.
Not at all. Many people come here knowing how they feel, but not how to put it into words. You’ll be guided through simple questions, and the prayer is written from there.
They are for anyone seeking encouragement, comfort, gratitude, or a deeper sense of connection. You do not need to have perfect faith or all the answers — just an open heart.
The prayers are rooted in Christian faith, but they are written with gentleness, respect, and compassion. The focus is on love, hope, and sincerity, not labels.
Yes. Many people choose to include a written prayer alongside a gift for weddings, baptisms, graduations, new babies, or times of healing. A prayer adds a personal blessing that can be kept and revisited.
